Snow in April

Scarf - Old
Cardigan - Thrifted

So believe it or not, these photos were actually taken on Easter! That's right, April 5th, 2015 and it snowed! The weather in Buffalo has had extremely cold and it had a hard time breaking. Now, we are finally into a fairly regular average temperature of 60 degrees F!
I couldn't be happier!
I had cabin fever so bad and I'm desperate to shed these layers and wear my light and airy clothes! Looks like it's time for another shopping trip!
Let me just wrap up by saying that I know my hair looks crazy! hahah, It's in between the stages of growing out and the natural color coming back while the dyed color grows out. It's an annoying process to have to wait for my hair color to come back, but I refuse to dye it again. I was thinking of temporary dye just so it didn't look so awful, but I'm conflicted. Any opinions?

Erin and Easter

Green Dress - (local boutique) Half & half Co.
Black Coat - Borrowed! (thanks, Fran! ❤️)
Heels - Thanks again, Fran!

This post is featuring my boyfriend, Shawn's, little sister Erin! Believe it or not, these pictures were taken April 5th. That's right, it snowed in Buffalo on Easter! I hope the snow is gone for good, but the beautiful lightly frosted trees and ground made the perfect compliment for Erin's dress and coat. It is a very simple but mature outfit that's great for the transitioning seasons.

Kiersten Casual!

This post doesn't include links of where to to get these clothes, but it's definitely a good outfit especially on those gloomy spring days when you aren't quite feeling ready to put on that bright yellow dress. Kiersten has her own blog that you can visit, here!
I've been working on a few more posts with me and I've also taken some pictures featuring Erin!

A "Win-Wind" Situation!

This is a great trend this Spring/Summer season! If you're looking to stay cozy and dry this season, then grab one of these trendy trenches! They're mostly lightweight, and offer a fashionable flair while maintaining functionality. This was a project for my fashion forecasting class, but I wanted to share it with all of you!

What do you think?
Do you love this trend?

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kelsey the Dig!

Yay! Kelsey the Dig has survived 2 years! I know this past year has been a tough one, but I'm determined for more posts! I won't lie, it's hard to shoot in such bad weather all the time. Thanks for being there to scroll through pictures, read and "lol", participating in my giveaways, and overall, thank you for always coming back!
You're the reason I am truly inspired to continue this blog when life gets tricky.

Here are a few of my favorite posts from this past year!
