Spring Trend Must Haves

This was definitely an attempted trend last Spring/Summer season. But this time around, it is a more affordable and trendy must. Many "Boho" things have a very earthy quality, which fits perfectly with Spring 2013, because this season's colors are very neutral and pastel based. Many "boho" types of clothes can even be thrifted, because it not only demonstrates a earthy feel, but also a retro vibe. Think flower child! I'm definitely a fan of this trend!

I've always been a fan of retro style, and often try to incorporate it into my everyday outfits. Even though, softer colors are more popular this spring season, don't be afraid to add a pop of color with a retro article of clothing! If you can't afford these bright essentials, you can easily make due with any article of clothing, or accessories that have bright and loud characteristics. You can look for things that have geometric shapes, and definitely stick to the certain colors like orange, blue, red, yellow, and green. I know that's basically all of them, but try to mix it up! This type of retro style is always looking to make a statement, so don't be afraid to try!

To be honest, I find it a bit odd that black and white are also a top hit this season. I guess I'm just personally tired of seeing white snow and grey skies, haha. However, if you are looking to pursue this trend make sure you find something with a pattern. Pattern is essential, because you're really only working with two colors (or shades) and that can get boring quickly. If you don't have much to accentuate with, then try wearing bold and colorful makeup so off set the complete black and white feel. This is a great way to stand out from the scenery  Everything will be in bloom while you stand there as a bold and fashionable highlight!

I haven't recently seen any shops selling brush stroke patterned clothes, but I can imagine that it will be a big hit! This is definitely setting a fresh and new idea that will surely brighten up the upcoming season. The wonderful thing about this pattern is that it can be a quite or loud statement and still draw much positive attention. It is an unpredictable pattern that could easily be matched with some geometric shaped accessories. I know that square bags are in this season, so don't forget to snatch one up to match your artistic style this spring!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this fad. I just think it is absolutely gorgeous. I am much of a classic vintage girl and enjoy lace and floral a lot. I know that this trend has been around for quite a while and it seems continuous throughout the year, but challange yourself and make it fresh and new. Floral patterns are typically neutral or pastel colors, so glam it up with some bold accessories. Before it gets too hot out, maybe even layer up. On the street, I have seen people putting lace on lace and floral on floral. This can be a really great idea, as long as you don't over do it to look like a sewing box or a garden. Set and equal balance throughout your body, When working with small prints, go big with accessories. When working with big prints, go with small (but bright) accessories. This set that whole "equal balance" thing we were talking about.
