Packing Tips!

Sorry about not posting anything special today. I'm not really feeling up to blogging much today. This weather is getting me down, and I haven't had anyone to help me take pictures of outfits I've had. I will  be leaving for a 24 hour bus trip to Orlando, Florida to go to Disney World, so I thought it was appropriate to make a post on items that are commonly forgotten but great to bring on vacation to anywhere sunny!

Things to add when you think you're done packing:

  • Pennies!
    • Most anywhere you go will charge you to the moon for souvenirs. But basically everywhere has those penny pressing machines, so don't forget to pack some pennies as a cheap keep sake!
  • Insect Repellent
    • For obvious reasons.
  • Swimming Suit & Towel.
    • Whether you're going somewhere that you will be swimming or not, it's a good thing to have, just incase your hotel has a pool!
  • Camera
    • Take some memories home with you!
  • Batteries, to go with your camera!
    • Or the charger for the camera, (depends how old your camera is)
  • Sunscreen
  • A Light Hoodie.
    • When you think of warm places, you think of packing only shorts and shirts. Believe it or not, when the sun goes down, warm areas get cold too, so keep a light hoodie with you so you don't freeze!
  • Umbrella.
    • Because no matter what the news tells you, weather is unpredictable.
  • Band-aids
    •  Especially if your trip involves being out a lot. Maybe it's just me, but I'm always getting hurt or cut. Haha!
  • Hand Sanitizer
    • This is a necessity  especially if you're touching everything and then go to eat or something. Just keep it on you and keep clean!

Packing Tips:

  • Roll, don't fold!
    • If you roll your clothes, it makes more room to fit more, or gives you that extra space to bring back some souvenirs!
  • Make a packing list!
    • Chances are if you don't think you'll forget it, you will. Just write it down!
  • Layer up!
    • Wear the thickest clothes you are bringing to travel home. That extra room in your luggage probably is non-existent because of souvenirs. By wearing your thickest items home, you made some more room to squeeze in your items!
  • NEVER CHECK ESSENTIAL ITEMS
    • Always keep things like your phone, laptop, camera, important papers, ect. on you when you travel. This is more focused on air travellers  Put them in your carry-on, because luggage does get lost sometimes, and you don't want to be that unlucky traveler.

Hope this helped!
